Role Overview

iPro Software is an exciting and ambitious company, who are striving to become the best in class CRM and booking system provider for the travel and tourism industry (SME market), specifically targeting Cottage and Villa Rental Agencies.

Our product is a proven alternative to the established systems on the market, thanks to the success of ‘Airbnb’ the industry is experiencing huge levels of growth and investment. Our growth has been based on our clients growth, however we are now looking to expand to a wider audience and take advantage of the growth within the industry.

The ‘Business Development Manager’ will be responsible for growth in both new business and existing business and have a wealth of experience in ‘Client Success’ for the SAAS industry.  Driving growth by implementing a world class ‘Client Succes’ programme that has a clear focus on bringing onboard the ‘Right Customer’ and helping our clients grow their profitability and revenue by engaging and utilising all iPro has to offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone or via Screenshare
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Create and manage the sales pipeline
  • Record forecasted sales
  • Oversee the development of the existing website
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy inline with client growth

  • Follow new business sales process
    • Sell to the ‘Right Customer’
    • Pre Sales Process to highlight ‘Red Flags’ and ‘Risks’

    • Pass successful order to ‘Projects’ for verification and approval
  • Account planning and customer relationship management
  • Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Set and define key metrics for success i.e. 130% growth year on year per client
    • Quarterly Client Review (QCR)
    • Annual Client Review (ACR)
    • QTY of tickets per week
    • Client Product Usage
    • Invoice Status
    • Etc…
    • Client Health Score
    • Client NPS Score
  • Plan email campaigns:  To educate and drive client growth and engagement

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 to 3 years experience in a new business Sales Role, or a revenue targeted Account management role
  • Proven track record of achieving their sales quota
  • Excellent organisational skills and a natural ability to follow processes
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
  • Solving customers business needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Professional negotiation and influencing skills
  • To work as part of a team and to share information
  • Advanced sales skills
  • An excellent understanding of a Client Success Manager’ role and how a Client Success’ company wide ideology will drive new business and increase our Annual Recurring Revenue from our existing business.
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, proactive and results-driven.
  • Passion for technology, and keeping abreast of new technology and methodology.
